J = 'joined'. Not to say that interjections don't or can't go there, but it's nost just for them. The J file, as assigned to an NPC through the use of pdialog.2da, acts just as any .dlg file you'd find in a .cre file. It's called via the Dialogue() set of actions.

When we are making our custom NPC have interjections, do we need to start off with

BEGIN S-TNOJ //my interjection file is S-TNOJ.d

Yes. You need to start with BEGIN "blah" whenever you start a dlg file.
